Silky Velour Beach Towels were originally marketed as artificial silk. It is made of 20% Cotton and 80% Modal which is cellulose (organic) from a beech tree. This super soft luxurious material feels cool to the touch, breathes well, and is more absorbent than cotton. The smooth texture makes hard water deposits less likely to adhere to the surface, helping the fabric stay soft trough repetitive washings.
